retrorod
Real good Vid! I am into the blues. I am into soul. I've always said, that I have a lot of soul for a white man. I feel that there are a lot of versions of the Blues. I can usually 'feel' if they are coming from the 'soul' or just 'posing' as wannabes'. I think everyone gets 'the blues'...But not everyone can express them at the same level....IF that makes any sense, Rod
larryp58
Musicians like that are a dying breed. I fear all the pickers from that era are slowly leaving us. Is someone gonna step up to the plate and carry on? Yea, there are good pickers out there, but they just don't "feel" it, or have that special "touch" like the masters before us did. onewilyfool
I like what Michael said about Son........he plays the blues with every fiber of his body......that's how you have to play them........
E-minor7
Genuine musicians born and so proud to do it. As Bloomfield says 'bout playing : It's not what you are brought up to do, but what's in your spirit. Once saw Butterfield and Rick Danko in Lone Star Cafe, New York City - Gene Clark and Michael Clark performed too. What an evening. . .
