Tight Control Knobs

Does anyone have any suggestions about how I can loosen up the control knobs on my Lester? All four are quite tight so I was wondering if there's a trick to loosening them up?

are they hard to turn , or do you mean hard to pull them off the shaft?

I believe they be sprayed with contact spray. I'm sorry I don't know the name or brand off the top of my head.

 

I found this, don't over spray or get the potentiometer too saturated:

Yeah, I'd say that this product would be the thing to use alright, but unfortunately I can't get it shipped into Canada. I'll have to do some research to see if there's a Canadian distributor. The axe is new, so I can’t see it being too dirty yet, but they do need to be lubricated for sure.
