At 9 a.m. this morning my wife gave birth to two healthy twin boys. The past 48 hours have been crazy. I just got home to get some sleep.

 

I did find time, though, during the downtime at the hospital to check the forum and make some posts.

 

Now I will have to decide whether one of the twins or my daughter will inherit the Les Paul.

congratulations on the two new children you are truly blessed,if you have any other guitars maybe you should give each of them a different guitar so that they feel sort of special in their own way

Congratulations and good luck!!!

 

I have a daughter who turns 3 on monday. Five weeks after she was born, I drove to the Guitar center in syracuse and bought an SG Classic. Turns out it was built the day she was born. The serial number is 02305XXXX, or august 18th, 2005.

 

Six months ago I had a son and was trying everything I could do to track down a Gibson from february 19th, 2008. Gibson actually tried to help me out, but I didn't have much luck. I eventually found a Les Paul Junior Nashville with the serial number 00518XXXX, or february 20th 2008. It's close, but I'm still on the lookout for a Gibson with a serial number starting with 00508XXXX (if anyone ever spots anything, let me know).

 

At least I'll know who gets which guitar.

Congratz. Twins huh? Maybe they can have a doubleneck and share! After all, I have seen video of Stevie and Jimmy Vaughn playing together on a doubleneck.
