That just looks like Heritage Cherry Sunburst to me.

The actual "Goldburst" wasn't introduced untill this summer at the Jam .

 

I posted some pictures, and the fellas here almost ran me out of town on a rail ...

Not even close . The goldie is a flame maple top with a gold burst , as in goldtop .

I dont like it... and yes it is the goldburst... Why they didnt do it the other way 'round beats me... it would have been nice if they had done it like the silverburst: black (or any color that goes ok with gold) on the sides and edges... and gold to the center.

There was a link posted around here somewhere to a site that allowed you to build a les paul style guitar in flash. It had a goldburst option that had a gold inner area and black outside. Looked really cool. Wish I had the link.

thats definetly a fake in the auction, and even if it wasn't i wouldn't get. i dont like the gold or silverburst's :[ it just dosen't look right as a les paul.

I have a .pdf catalog that dates from 2006 that lists "Latte Creme" amongst the various colors that nobody ever saw in the stores. Looks like this one, a basically un-stained flame in the center (waste of a nice piece of maple not to have the figure pop with a little color) and gold on the edges - looks like somebody sanded off the center of a goldtop and left it raw.

I imagine the consensus was not too good .
