I'll be performing with the Meramec Jazz Lab Band (20-piece jazz big band), this Sunday, December 5, 3:00 p.m. The price is right - FREE Sunday, December 5, 2010, 3:00 p.m. Meramec College Theater (Humanities West Building) 11333 Big Bend Road (Geyer & Big Bend) Kirkwood, MO 63122 Opening the concert will be The Meramec Symphonic Band with a short program. For our most recent run of concerts I've been Playing my 1947 Gibson L-7 (yes, the L-5 is jealous), equipped with a pickguard mounted Benedetto floating pickup, and had many compliments on it's "classic" big band sound at our concert earlier in the week. Make sure and come up the the stage and say "hi" after the show (I'll have a good bit of tear-down to do). AND, there is always free cookies and juice in the lobby.
