AXE® Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 For all you Les Paul lovers ... I found a quick easy way to keep your lovely Lesters preened . The Swiffer . just a cuick flap here and a little fluff there and it's undusted . Even those little pesky areas ie; headstock, between the pickups and controls . psssst , it works on other guitars also ...

Tim Plains Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Thank God! For a second there, I was worried I was the only one that used the Swiffer. Glad to see I'm not!
daveinspain Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 VERY COOL AXE.... I didn't know you were so domestic... ;-)
Tim Plains Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 You guys don't pressure wash yours? I did once and really regretted it. Before: After: Now, I use Swiffer and only Swiffer...just like Axe does. He's the one that turned me onto that guitar cleaning product. So, give credit where credit is due. The one...the only...Axe!!
AXE® Posted August 16, 2008 Author Posted August 16, 2008 I don't know about domestic , but a single guy needs to keep things neat so when "company" comes over they can concentrate on the important stuff . Not the pizza boxes and beer cans If you get my drift ...
Hall Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I have to dust a whole friggin house! Swiffers are my choice. Wish I could afford a, Mrs. Livingston! Steve
retrosurfer1959 Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 I use a weird little feather duster/swifter type of thing I got at a Porsche dealership. it's a detail brush made for the dash. it is a perfect size and material and has no weird chemicals. Best thing I aver found for cleaning guitars off quickly has a soft enough brush even black guitars don't show swirls.
daveinspain Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 Hahhahhaa... Guitars and a clean house keeps them coming back for more
Kevylot Posted August 16, 2008 Posted August 16, 2008 i just throw mine in the washing machine and then tumble dry for 5 minutes
