After that they seemed to move in a more pop synth direction and I never bought another. Hear they are currently back in the studio but Ben Orr will be missed I'm afraid. My dad died from it. awful; On a cheerful note the cars first album was played for me by my roomate after we had just moved out in 1978. I remember being so excited because it meant the end of disco and I thought "Best friend's girl" was a great rock song. Still do, Great stuff.
