why do people think epiphones are gibsons. some person actually wanted to buy it possibly thinking its a Real GIBSON

Technically, Epiphones are Gibsons.......Sellers know this, and often mis-use this in order to generate interest in an Epi Paul by calling it a Gibson without being specific.....Legal, but not right......

They should specify an Epiphone or, a Gibson Epiphone........

yeah for real. i hope the guy who replied didnt think it was a U.S.A made gibson. most people call it a Gibson Epiphone, because an epiphone is just a gobson made with cheaper labor and hardware

Well, no.....gotta be careful about how you state that.....An Epi is a Gibson, but a Gibson is not an Epi........

Happens all the time with "Fender Strat $125.00" when it's a $99.00 Squire Bullet (by Fender).

It's as much the fault of a buyers greed as an unscrupulous seller when folks get taken in by this......

Anyone that thinks they're gonna get a real LP for $200 or a real Strat for $125 deserves what they get..."F" 'em !!
