Californiaman
Anybody using a treble boost and what are you using? I found a couple I like or would like to try. Your help, as always, is appreciated.
charlie brown
I don't use a "treble" boost pedal, per se...but, I can get that, using my Boss EQ pedal, set biased towards the highs. How it's actually set, varies, depending on how much I want, and the guitar I'm using, at the time. CB
chase1410
Like the RangeMaster?
surfpup
I love players that use treble boosters... Rory Gallagher and Brian May spring to mind. I've never been able to get a good sound out of one though - always too thin and screechy. Maybe I need a Vox AC30 to make it work! But most of my amps have EL84 power sections and seem like they'd be good but ... not so much. Still I plan to build myself a Rangemaster clone soon and try again. SG FAN
Iommi used a Rangemaster on the early Sabbath albums.
Jon S.
I've got a homemade Beano Boost clone. It's got a 3-way switch so you can pick what you want to boost(mids, highs, lows). I think it's great with British style amps. Kinda like a raunchy clean boost!
