Just imagine my surprise when I see Alex play them and he's not playing the same chords I do.... Good one! I'll admit that I was the weak link when we played Rush. My brother played Geddy Lee parts really well and our drummer was out of this world. We've been practicing again so maybe we'll get to play some Rush tunes out again soon. Thundergod Posted December 23, 2010 Share Posted December 23, 2010 Depends on the song, if it's a song I listen to a lot and like a lot, then I can play it by memory, no need to learn it if it's a song I've never even heard about or a song I don't like, it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a year.
