the_undecided_one
Hi all, I am currently looking for a 5 string bass to compliment my 4 string Schecter. While i would like to stay brand loyal, Schecter does not make a 5 string Thunderbird copy. sooo, what do you think of this bass? (the Epiphone Thunderbird Pro-V) worth the $$, or should i keep looking? thanks!

But beware if you buy used, there was a batch of 2009 models with defective fretwire, And a batch of the five string models have had problems with the pickup registering the low B. the_undecided_one
hmm, defects... always reassuring! i'd be buying new, so hopefully the (seemingly?) recent bugs have been worked out.
Hungrycat
Yeah, all that stuff was when they first came out. I haven't heard of any problems recently, but if you do buy used you have to watch out.
