B)
neilpanda Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 well its not a stomp box, but its the best one on my board
EVOL! Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 As much as I hate chorus, I think that list is pretty solid. My all time favorites are - Fuzz Factory - Mosrite Fuzzrite - Maxon/Ibanez OD808 - MXR Phase90 - Univibe There should be an analog delay in there too; maybe an Echoplex?

B) Maestro made a boat load of killer fx pedals. I used to own a Phase Shifter phaser. What a tone suck, but the phasing out of it was rich and dreamy.
bluesguitar65 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I chose these as these pedals seem to be most popular on everyone's pedalboard spanding within the last 20+ years. In no particular order: 1. Ibanez Tube Screamer (TS-808, TS-9) 2. Electro Harmonix Big Muff 3. Boss DS-1 4. MXR Phase 90 5. Electro Harmonix Memory Man 6. Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress Flanger 7. Crybaby Wah (Dunlop, Thomas Organ) 8. Fuzz Face 9. MXR Dyna Comp 10. Boss SD-1 11. Ernie Ball Volume Pedal I'm not including pedals that were not around more than 20+ years ago like the Fulltone OCD....etc and other botique pedals as I believe pedals that are still available after over 20+ years have proven to be popular and stil a need for them due to their unique tone that set them apart from the rest. This gives a meaning for "Best Stomp Boxes of ALL TIME....EVER" IMHO.
Thundergod Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 No Vox wah in there? I thought they would put it in the top 5 Also is the boss dd20 giga delay in the list?
bluesguitar65 Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 No Vox wah in there? I thought they would put it in the top 5 Also is the boss dd20 giga delay in the list? The older thomas organ Vox wah were great, but the majority of wah pedals you see on pedalboards are crybaby wahs. So that is why I deliberately excluded it from my list. The DD20 is too recent to even make it on the "Best of ALL TIME" meaning its been around for a long time IMHO.
S t e v e Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 Also is the boss dd20 giga delay in the list? nope, only the DM2 analogue delay no 9 and the DD7 digital dalay no 81
EVOL! Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 No Vox wah in there? I thought they would put it in the top 5 Yeah. To me the original wah was the Vox wah. Cry Baby came later.
Tenthmed Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 nope, only the DM2 analogue delay no 9 and the DD7 digital dalay no 81 And DD-3 at 11.
Tenthmed Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 No Vox wah in there? I thought they would put it in the top 5 Also is the boss dd20 giga delay in the list? Vox V847 Wah at 64.
ShredAstaire Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I used to really like the DOD Corrosion pedal...haven't seen one in years!
S t e v e Posted December 28, 2010 Author Posted December 28, 2010 I used to really like the DOD Corrosion pedal...haven't seen one in years! DOD grunge was the daddy when i first started playing...not on the list either ...not ONE dod on the list!
dem00n Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Is the whole list online? Then what would be the point of buying the Mag?
Silenced Fred Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Then what would be the point of buying the Mag? sometimes they put content on both... just asking bud
tazzboy Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 I am little bias towards Tremolo, Reverb, and Delay
EVOL! Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 And DD-3 at 11. WTF? That pedal is DOD reliable. How did it break the top 20?
Californiaman Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Can someone please post a link to this. I can't find it on the internet. That would be helpful to me at least. Thanks.

Dub-T-123 Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 To me, "all time" includes the past 20 years. I wish I could see the rest of the list. CryBaby at #1? the CryBaby is good but not #1...
Californiaman Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The reason the crybaby wah is No. 1 is because most guitarists either use them now of have in the past. Some of the most iconic performances have been done with the wah wah. Wah wah
