I am new member, who has recently been trying out different LPs at my local GC. Im now looking to buy an LP Goth and a BFG (i read the forum on BFG, but personally like the looks). I am considering a goth found on EPAY and wanted advice/ the ad says, and shows in one pic, that sealant is breaking through down the length of the neck. It appears to have come right through the paint. Is this a guitar to avoid, or not a problem (other than cosmetics).

Thanks for any opinions

Personally' date=' I wouldn't buy it. Looks like problems to me. Look at the action in that photo of the neck. [/quote']

+1

The action is unbelievably high... and that's showing the 1st 2nd and 3rd fret... imagine how it is at the 12th!

The guitar looks beaten the sh¡t out of... I would stay away from any guitar that belongs to a person that doesnt know how to care for her.

Did the same to me ChanMan. Copy and paste the entire address.

Ahhhh... wise you are slim!

Now it says it is sold. 'nuff said :-k

However' date=' it reminds me of the Menace... which is the ONLY LP I have ever played that I actually [i']hated[/i]. Neck like sandpaper and played like an '80s era Squier. Just... ewww.

I wouldn't buy that.

$500? Throw in a couple more hundred and get yourself a Studio.

Or a few more hundred and get a standard. eusa_whistle.gif

But really if you like the Goth series try a menace maybe you'll like it.
