Shnate McDuanus
richie needs a comeback "rock" album.... Absolutely. Maybe he ought to recruit some guys for a new Rainbow project--I wonder who would be included if he did? An interesting album that got overshadowed by the Machine Head album. True--Machine Head is a great album, but I prefer Fireball and In Rock. The things that really make Machine Head for me are "Highway Star," "Maybe I'm A Leo," "Space Truckin'" and "Pictures Of Home." My favorite DP album is In Rock. It's raw and heavy, but really inventive and creatively unrestricted. Of note is John Lord's keyboard work on In Rock, which is really top-notch. But really, you can't go wrong with Deep Purple. DEEP PURPLE ROCKS !!!!!!!!!!!! Good post, thanks....... Any time.
Murph
richie needs a comeback "rock" album.... Ritchie is almost 70 years old. The Blackmores Night stuff is really good. His "touch" on an acoustic is very classy. One of my favorite players for sure.
krock
Deep Purple were one of the greatest rock bands (but iim sure people will disagree with that) However I didnt like it when Michael Angelo Battio played for them. He's a shredder, and doesnt specialise in rock, so why play for them.
S t e v e
Ritchie is almost 70 years old. 65 , and NEVER too old to ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! B) Blackmore has a son, Jürgen R. Blackmore (b. 1964), from his first marriage to a German woman named Margit.[28] Their marriage ended in 1969. Jürgen is now playing guitar in Over the Rainbow, formed by several ex-members of Rainbow.
