AXE® Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 How is everyone ? Enjoying their Gibsons I presume .
surfpup Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Not much else to do in a tropical storm. At least as long as we've got power.
AXE® Posted August 22, 2008 Author Posted August 22, 2008 The site has still been running very sluggish for me , so logging in and participating has been very frustrating to say the least . I've found a Kick*as luthier in my area to assist on the AX/plorer project so maybe I'll get moving forward on the endevor . I will be looking for input from you fine fella's throughout , as I trust your judgment ... for the most part
slimjimdom Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Not much else to do in a tropical storm. At least as long as we've got power. Vox da5 and batteries, should always be part of your hurricane kit. I suppose a microcube would be fine too.
Tim Plains Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I'm at work... ...thinking about my Gibbies, though.
Les Paul Fanatic Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 Work, and naturally my gibbies are on my mind as well as my ESP and my seven string peavey which is most un fortunately in a resurrection job due to my kid brother spilling a liquid of some sort on the pickups and shorting them out so now as previously stated I'm in the middle of a resurrection with that. PROUD OWNER OF THE ONLY LEGIT SEVEN STRING PEAVEY KNOWN. :P :D/ :D/ :D/ :P :D/ :D/ :D/ O:)
ChanMan Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I get to work from home. LP is on a stand not 20 feet from me, give or take a wall or so... Makes for a great 10 minute stress break!

Thundergod Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I am really enjoying my gibson... I just bought a guitar made by the other brand... and I love her but as it is very different than my gibbie, I love my gibson more now.
daveinspain Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I'm loving my Gibsons... and I'm actually getting better...
ChanMan Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 I'm loving my Gibsons... and I'm actually getting better... You too, eh? Isn't it amazing what just changing to a Les Paul will do for you?
Plank_Spanker Posted August 22, 2008 Posted August 22, 2008 A Les Paul into a good amp.............................can bring the sunshine onto a rainy day.
SAINTXXXJIMMY Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Hey man i'm bout to buy a bilie joe armstrong LP junior and i know most black guitars get finger printed, but do white ones get fingerprinted and smudged easily? etc.
GoldenBigsbyCustom Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Not really it all depends on how clean your hands are. I just got bak from the waterpark. Bad sunburn. That giant toilet bowl is so fun!!!

ckledzepplin Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 i'm doing ok. i had "orangedrops" in my sheri and wanted to put them in my lester instead, so i did but i think i melted the bridgde tone pot on the les paul, but i was planning on replacing that pot anyway to a Push/pull coil tap. and i put the stock gibby caps on my sheri and for some reaso no sound comes out, i check all the wiring and it is all in place. oh and i gave myself a wicked nasty burn from my soldering iron on my left hand. i ple'ked myself
