BigKahune
You don't have to change bridges, so the string positions will be the same. The F-spaced have the pole pieces farther apart, so the E to E the width is greater. I think they're made for the bridge position of late model Gibsons (like the 90s to present). So regardless of a trem or not, you'd want a F-space in the bridge position. I think (?)
GuitarGodV
the f-spaced pickup is a term for basically what dimarzio says is a pickup if you have a tremolo. (like seymour duncan uses the term "trembucker"). so, regarding what you said, i shouldn't need an f-spaced pickup... ... ...so thanks XD
BigKahune
I believe the spacing they're referring to is the string spacing. The idea is to keep the strings centered over the pole pieces, so the F-space is for bridge/saddle setups the have more distance between the two E strings than Dimarzio's normally spaced pups.
