IceTr3
I've done research and asked around, now I need to talk to more experienced people (that's you). I'm looking for a pedal that has basic effects (wah-wah, distortion/overdrive, compression, reverb, delay, etc.) that sounds great, not cheesy. I was looking at the Boss Gt-8 and Line 6 M13. Any other suggestions?
PESIMAX
I've used my vox tonelab for about six years (mines the twin wah pedal model) Never ever had any trouble with it and use it for every gig. It also saved my neck one gig when my amp blew and plugged it into the house p.a direct using the amp simulation. I'd highly recommend it.

Thanks, I didn't know if it was any good since I didn't do a lot of research on it. Also can you have multiple effects on at the same time? PESIMAX
It depends, in my tonelab se there are 4 settings. each setting has it's own on off footpedal. Pedal, Modulation, Delay, Reverb. Pedal being various distorions/wahs/oct/phase, Modulation being Flange, Chorus, Tremolo, Delay being Well Delay and Reverb etc. You can only use one of those at a time, However if you need to quickly swap between....the phase and the wah, you just create two banks will all the same settings except for the phase and wah and easily swap between banks. Flashkik
Hi, you can look at the Digitech RP500.
antwhi2001
BOSS ME-70. Built like a tank, usable as basic pedal board or by saving custom patches. Great range of classic fx, fits in a laptop carry-case. Like the Vox, it has an optional pre-amp section. Easy to understand, nice and simple for use in a gigging environment. Takes up half the floor space of my previous collection of individual pedals.
Xinnix
First, I'd never own anything Digitech! My first effects was an RP200 and it picked up radio stations!!! I've been using a Boss GT-6 for several years and its pretty good. Although just recently I went back to pedals, I would still recommend the GT-6. I'll be selling mine to help pay for that Boss CE-2 pedal I just purchased. Damn they are getting expensive!
Dknight16
Definitely check out the Boss ME-70. It's excellent (sound, ease of use, durability, efficiency). I've tried a few different ones and owned a couple of others (Digitech, Line-6) and am completely satisfied with the Boss.
ChanMan
Boss ToneLab LE is the best multi FX pedal I've ever used.
rjay777
Ditto on the Boss GT-6. Decent effects, but takes a bit of dialing in for proper sounds. I prefer the 'ol pedal board now as well.
