djroge1
Any of you have a midi converter or pup on your guitar that you use? If so, what do you like or not like about what you have?
retrosurfer1959
Four of my guitars have the 13 pin Roland Synth setup it's a blast and can be great in the studio. I currently have a Brian Moore iguitar a Roland ready Strat and both my Godin Multic Nylon and Multic Jazz are both setup for the Roland also. I have both a Roland GR-20 a GR-33 and also a Korg X-911 guitar synth that I use although the Korg is usually on a set of midi drums.
mcmurray
I haven't got one but they sure do look/sound like fun; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNUHsbdUdx8 I've heard good things about the graphtech ghost system.
djroge1
That does look fun. They are still expensive though.
Thundergod
I used to own a Roland MIDI pickup system with the GR88 or something like that... it was some 10 years ago so I don't really remember but it sounded good for the time. I recently bought, played for a week and then sold one of those roland ready strats, and it was nice, I played through a roland interface. I'm really looking forward to trying the graph tech system, it's said to be the best of them all.
