Thundergod Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I am in Ecuador so buying it is a little dificult... (customs here would make me pay 1000 maybe more...) Very good man... congratulations, you took something many folks hate and remade it into something beautiful. Do you have more pics? Did you do something to the headstock or left it the way it was?
Tim Plains Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 That is very cool. What's with the flower, though?

surfpup Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 That is amazing. I bet that took a few hours! You should carve and sell knobs. I bet many who might not invest in a fully hand-carved guitar would be interested in adding the knobs.
elessar820 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Actually the knobs are my favorite part about it, they finish it off nicely. Nice job.
Thundergod Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Man, have you considered offering artists to do that kind of job to their guitars? (you probably already do... )
yesp Posted August 23, 2008 Author Posted August 23, 2008 Man' date=' have you considered offering artists to do that kind of job to their guitars? (you probably already do... )[/quote'] Yes I have But you know it is hard to come in contact with them. I mean it is easy to send emails to their record companys but i suppose they sort in the trash can immediately. Anyone who can help me? send me a pm
elessar820 Posted August 24, 2008 Posted August 24, 2008 I just saw the guitar on eBay. Was it there before, I swear that I've seen it somewhere.
sinlimo Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 Good googly moogly!!! Nice effin working yesp! :applause: (and nice photography too, really makes your work shine)
3th3r Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 HOLYSHEET! This is simply amazing! I absolutely love the carving work. I don't know if would want to play it though, it's more like art to hang in the living room.
cudamax2343 Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 That is soo kool, real nice job. Can you tell me how many hours it took, about.
yesp Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 That is soo kool' date=' real nice job. Can you tell me how many hours it took, about. [/quote'] You can not really ask it that way. It´s the result of many years of artwork on paintings, sketches, prints and so on. The work on the guitar took around 4 weeks but not 8 hours a day...many days I didn´t want to look at it...
MI_Canuck Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 That is just amazing! Beautiful artwork!! cheers
elessar820 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 I just noticed that the case was painted to match, nice touch. Do you have a pic of the case?
FreedomStain Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 That is amazing. Well done! :-k I can see a Gibson ad with that BFG on it. Of course it would take you quite a few years to personally make 500 for Gibson.
Flight959 Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Hi, Looks fookin amazing friend... Like it very much!! Flight959
