BlueEpiphone
I've decided to replace some of my LP Special II's black plastic hardware with creme colored versions of the same. I think they'll look good with my guitar's purple finish. I'll be ordering knobs, pup rings, pup select ring and truss rod cover. Are these standard sizes shared by Gibson and Epiphone LP's? Any surprises to be aware of? Thanks in advance and Happy New Year.
Whitmore Willy
Happy new year to you! Gibby parts are imperial...Epi are metric. Shouldn't make much difference with selector switch ring as the washer covers it. Epi pickup mounting rings have different whole spacing and are slightly different size. Also make sure you get Flat bottom. Some are curved. Splines on knobs are different too. If pots are metric then you need metric knobs. Hopefully others will provide sources or links. (I haven't bought any lately) Willy

Good starting point for your parts search: (Low Prices) http://www.guitarfetish.com/Guitar-Hardware_c_37.html I buy LOTS of Goodies from them. The Knobs (different section) fit EPI pot shafts, G/F refers to them as fitting "Gibson-Style" guitars, meaning IMPORT/EPI. Cream Knobs? Gonna take a little looking. Cream TRCs are out there, just have to do digging. Many alternative sites to buy from - StewMac, AllParts, Ebay (I have my fave sellers), etc. Others can help with suggestions, of course! BlueEpiphone
Thanks, guys. You saved me a lot of trouble. If I can't get everything in creme color then I'll just "survive" with the original trim!
