eldatru Posted January 4, 2011 Share Posted January 4, 2011 Hi, i've got a Gibson LP Studio, i bought it like a year ago (new) and the thing is that when switching to the neck mic the guitar goes mute, or it sounds very low, or like if the overdrive were off. It worked properly a couple of times, but not anymore. i removed almost everything and didn't find anything suspicious. A friend told me that the switching key could be the problem. You might just try wiggling the switch around or switching it on and off a bunch of times to try to reproduce the problem. I think you're on the right track.
