Spot
Do any of the UK members have any experience with a good value room humidifier? Was looking at the Argos catalogue but they have sooo many to choose from? Don't want to spend a fortune on something fancy just want one that will do the job... jgwoods
http://www.honeywellcentral.com/product/0-92926-34312-5.html I am in the US. I have had great luck with the Honeywell Quicksteam- totally reliable and cheap to run- 3 years now now troubles. It also takes the chill out of the small room I use it in. nbtel
I use a bionaire tower humidifier and set her for 45 RH. The room I have is a small bedroom with 20 guitars on the racks. I think it cost me 50-70 dollars. I have a hygrometer as well as the settings just to make sure they are reasonably close. Change the water everyday and keep the filters clean as well as a little wipe down with some vinegar and it works perfect for me.
