Artie Owl Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Hey gang, it's been a while since my first recital and after I uploaded my video over 50 of you guys here took that few minutes out of your day to watch my first try at performing on stage and I just wanted to say Thanks, it really means a lot! As an aside to this I made a quick demo clip of my newest acoustic and put some photos from my St. John's trip to spruce it up a bit. This little parlour acoustic is worth more than it's weight and will see many a campfires I hope. Cheers, and thanks for the support again,
Kimbabig Posted January 9, 2011 Posted January 9, 2011 Beautiful playing Artillery, how much did that thing cost you because I want one now.
Artie Owl Posted January 9, 2011 Author Posted January 9, 2011 Beautiful playing Artillery, how much did that thing cost you because I want one now. I got it on sale for 169$ and they threw in the leather carry case, it was a boxing day thing, but I highly recommend it, it's a lot easier to use than I thought it would be. Thanks Nathan
Artie Owl Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 I should also mention that that soundbite was put together in about 20 minutes on the Boss recorder, from input to final mix, using the on board microphone no less. Pretty sweet
freak show Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Great playing and nice photos! You got an awesome deal on that guitar, and it sounds fantastic!
pippy Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 That was very pleasant on both ears and eyes! Thanks for sharing! P.
Artie Owl Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 Thanks guys, if you ever get a chance go to St. John's. They love music and parties there and it can really inspire you to want to play more often and better. Mo better if you will.
Silenced Fred Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 I got it on sale for 169$ and they threw in the leather carry case, it was a boxing day thing, but I highly recommend it, it's a lot easier to use than I thought it would be. Thanks Nathan Fuzzbabig stole my fuzz name art luthrie and the seagulls are great guitars. Probably going to end up getting another seagull when I get the cash
Artie Owl Posted January 11, 2011 Author Posted January 11, 2011 Have any of you guys or girls actually been to Newfoundland? Or the North Eastern Coast for that matter?
Guest rogerb Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Nice sounding acoustic, love the pictures too.
