And I realize that music has been a constant in my life no matter what since I was a pretty little kid. As I get older, sometimes I'm a little overwhelmed when I think about just how significant it's been to me and some of the ways it's carried me through some otherwise crummy times. The other constant has been dogs, I guess. I've almost always had one, and walks by the lake with the dog(s) have been something I've always treasured.
