There is a way to rebuild them depending what type of batteries they used in them.

I have never seen one but would like to.

I rebuild battery packs in the Ham Radio equipment I have, handhelds etc it can be done.

I had my laptop battery rebuilt in my Sharp laptop by a company in Calif. and it works great.

I can't buy a battery for it anylonger but I can get it rebuilt and it even works better

then the factory.

So batteries can be rebuilt.
