black beauty man Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 i was wondering if people could tell me if the tanglewood version of the black beauty (tsb c 58 eb) is better than a epiphone version becouse ive been wondering for when i go out to get one of these. thanks to all those who will respond :)
Gary Moore Tribute Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Gotta Be the Epiphone, costs a little more, but you get a better build and is ALOT easier to sell on (If required) Being a sub of Gibson even for lower spec versions their quality is top notch.

Well I've had Non Epi gibson based guitars before my current ones. I've also played a tanglewood they make great accoustics don't get me wrong its just that their les paul isn't as good as the epi version.
bigneil Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Do some research, look at the specifications, wood, and construction techniques, and build quality of each instrument. Then look up user reviews online (Harmony central is a good site). And then, most importantly PLAY THEM and make an informed decision. Unfortunately i have not played either guitar, so i can't give you a review. Good luck finding the right Axe
