Acousticologist
This is obviously the high end of Gibson acoustics. Is this price about right? Is the Southern Jumbo on the higher end of the Gibsons range? http://www.haworthguitars.com.au/control/product/~product_id=gibson-sthjumbo;jsessionid=1f00lkm66p2fa

BigKahune
That's an AUS site. In the US, around $2600 USD (give or take a bit). So it seems high to me, but I'm not familar with prices Down-under. B)

Mojorule
Well it appears to be unavailable anyway. Compared with Haworth's available J45 Standard, it seems to have been hugely overpriced when it was up for grabs though. This does not appear to be the SJ TV, but rather the Modern Classic or Standard which is available in Europe through Thomann, and must essentially be the same guitar as the J45 Standard. At Thomann the extra bling on the SJ costs a few extra Euros, but nothing like twice as many. I think that Thomann can export to Oz...
retrorod
Without googling it...What is the current exchange rate for Euros/US dollars ?
Acousticologist
Ok. Well since I wont be able to try the guitar, or interact with sales staff while buying one, the only reason to buy somewhere online is price. And it's easy to check out the competition... If you're buying a Gibson online, where do you go? Have you Had a good experience? Get a great price?
