Personally, my favorite incarnation of Megadeth was when Pitrelli joined the fold. The intro to "Train of Consequences" from "Rude Awakening" is full of soul and feeling.

The entire "World Needs a Hero" album (recorded with Pitrelli)is a cut above the rest of the Megadeth Catalog as far as musicianship and production go.

We all know that Chris Poland was the driving force behind Megadeth.

Jk, I really enjoyed the World Needs a Hero, and I really felt those were some of the best lyrics Mustaine has written.

Great thread Demon!

I've been GAS'n for a PGM 301 for awhile. Sweet axe.

I'm glad Gilbert's finally getting more respect nowdays... hopefully the return of Mr. Big will

capitalize that. Mainstream rock friggin needs crazy guitar again...long overdue peeps.

Here's another smokin one from Pablo Gilberto. [thumbup]

I gotta tell ya I'm pretty excited about the new Mr. Big CD. One of my favorite bands and it's sounding like that got it all together for this return.

Way cool Gilbert and Sheehan settled their differences. I'm stoked for that cd too. [thumbup]
