mgrmatt Posted January 30, 2011 Share Posted January 30, 2011 I was noticing that on the newer VS IBJL Casinos that the burst is more of a 3 tone burst as opposed to more of a 2 tone burst on the first run. I was just wondering if there had been any changes to the Revoloution model anyone had seen? There was a local dealer that had an early 2010 Revoloution and the neck finish seemed a bit dark to me. bobouz Posted January 31, 2011 Share Posted January 31, 2011 One of the more interesting variations I've noticed with the IBJL model is that some of them have the edge of the F holes painted black, while others have been left to show the natural wood. If the black is sloppily applied on any F hole guitar, it's a huge turn off for me, and Chinese Epis in particular seem to be done quite carelessly. It seems as though the tri-burst vs is something new on most of the current models, I have seen Dot's, Sheraton's and Standard Casino's at GC recently that have a real cool vintage look. mgm Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
