I swear to this day that its BEACHES not Peaches. Even though the line is from another song or something, he says Beaches. Beaches beaches beaches.

LOL

I dont know anymore, the internet wants me to believe its Peaches.

Wikipedia claims it's " Really love your beaches, man, I gotta pee." I dunno........doesn't sound blusy.......

To this day Steve Miller Band just gives me a headache. Sorry?

Don't apologize. I find them offensive; they offend my sense of taste. So pedestrian and soulless. The intro to Keep On Rocking Me Baby is the worst. Gives new meaning to the term stiff.

But....why would someone want to shake a tree because he liked Beaches? If he liked Peaches, however, you'd want the peaches out of the peach tree, so he'd shake it....like this

Sweet Nancy was so fancy

To get into her pantry

Had to be the aristocracy

The members that she toyed with

At her city club

Were something in diplomacy

So we put her on the hit list

Of a common cunning linguist

A master of many tongues

And now she eases gently

From her Austin to her Bentley

Suddenly she feels so young

Someone said I should check out Steve Miller band... found an album on sale (should have been my first clue)

So I bought it and popped it in the car. The entire CD played for about ten minutes total and that was pushing it by about 9 minutes. I tried to keep an open mind, but it was just bad.

Redeem yourself Steve, REDEEM YOURSELF!
