Les Paul Standard 08 Plus Nashville USA : sounds ?

Dear all

 

i really love this LP Standard (i mean the look), unfortunatly i live in a city in France where guitar shops are not well equiped, i cant try as many guitar as i would need

 

i want to get this new axe in the future and would like to have some feedback for its sound(s), i play mainly heavy metal and dixie rock, do you guys think the Burstbucker Pro picks will be good enough (all my guitars are EMGed (60, 81 and 85)

 

i first said to myself, all right just put your usual EMG and fair enough, but maybe it could be interesting to have a different sound with this one (if it can rock enough off course)

 

any owner advice will be appreciated

Yea. I love this one, although it's a bit out of my current price range.
