Artie Owl
I bought a small tool box from my local Crappy Tire (Canadian Tire for non locals) for my capos, tuners, polishes, pics, whammy bars etc etc. I intially wanted to buy the larger size, but I neglected my instinct and went with the smaller one that doesn't quit fit. No big deal, I'll use it for batteries or something else, and went back to CT and bought the large one, and a good pair of wire cutters for restringing (which will promptly go into the new bigger tool box.) What do you use to store all of your guitar gear?
EVOL!
At home I use an old shoe box for large items like polish, pliers, & string winders and an empty Swiffer dust cloth box for small, quick grab items like picks and capos. At the rehearsal space I have an old one foot x one foot tin where everything goes. Picks are in old Altoids tins.
Silenced Fred
I bought a wall hanger from Ikea and they have these cups that go on it, I keep picks, batteries, capos, string winder, etc. in those and picks in an altoids box or on top of the amp when I play. Everything else goes in the case when I go play somewhere, and I throw cables strap and whatever else I need in a backpack
MojoRedFoot
I have a big a$$ tool box with all spare parts (pups, strap buttons, knobs, pots, tuners, etc), some packs of strings, 9v batteries, soldering iron, polish, cloths, screw drivers, screws, hex keys of all sizes, bent needle nose pliers, all kinds of sh!t. All the picks, trem bars and few packs of strings are in respective cases.

NeoConMan
Various drawers in my guitar cabinets and plastic bins with snap-on lids. My travel bag for a rare gig is basically a gun range bag - similar to a laptop computer bag.
WahKeen
I have minions bring me my tools at the clap of my hands... But really, I have a small table where I keep picks, tools, nail clipper (yes!), headphones, etc... For bigger stuff I use a book shelf.
ChanMan
A shelf in the corner where my gear is. I keep my winder, a screwdriver and pliers in an old blood sugar test kit pouch to grab and take with me. In one of my closets is a gig bag with extension cords, extra patch cables, the wireless rig and such, that I can take with me when I play out. If I play out. 57classic
I have a soft sided gear bag that is 12" x 16". Like a soft brief case from Musician's Friend. I've had it for years and it has a lot of compartments and holds cables, pedals, polish, tools, straps with room to spare. It only cost about $20.00. Shnate McDuanus
I always buy pants with as many deep pockets as possible. But seriously, I use these two medium-large plastic bins that I keep under my bed.
FirstMeasure
For my "Gig Stuff" I have a Fender Tweed Briefcase (that's really the size of an overnight case, where they get "Brief" from is beyond me) that's full of Extra Strings, Cables, Capos, Slides, String Winder and the like. For Repairs I have $5.00 plastic Craftsman tool box with Extra Strings, Soldering Iron, Extra Pots, Wire, String Winder/cutter, Candles (Wax for Trem Screws), and what not. For stuff I've accumulated I have a pretty nice guitar case that doesn't hold any guitar tightly, but it has a bunch of straps, knobs, useless pick ups, and things I never plan on using. The Brief Case goes everywhere my guitars go, the Tool Box goes on long distance gigs, and the accumulated stuff is stored and forgotten about 'till a thread like this brings it up. Andy R
Uh .... why ya askin'? Wanna know where I keep my credit cards and cash too? My address??[scared] When I leave for work?????[scared][scared] Actually I have had the same tackle box for years for parts and tools and what not. I also have one of those multi-guitar stands that fold into a briefcase that holds quite a bit of stuff for a gig.
krock
I have a small fishing box that I use. The type that you keep jigs and floats in. Seems to work well. Ive even made a little chord chart that I've stuck on it.
