Back in the early-mid 1970s I got involved in some US Bicentennial stuff that included old time fiddling and a biiig regional competition. I wish now I'd listened better to their discussions of the care and feeding of fiddles. Alas, although I was given one in thanks for doing guitar backup for a batch of 'em, I played it only a few times until I got tired of watching the cat vomit on the carpet whenever I drew the bow across the strings. <grin> Now I'd kinda like to try again, but should have the thing checked out by somebody who knows what they're doing. m Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
