Starpeve
Can't stop playing 'Dig,, Lazarus, Dig' by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds . Garage rock at it's finest, played by old blokes. Warren Ellis does some fantastic stuff on an electric tenor that has me hooked. I want one!

cody78
The Americana Music Festival 2013 on PBS! (Old Crow Medicine Show just finished up) 40th Anniversary of Austin City Limits on next! Old Crow Medicine Show are great! You don't hear about them much here in the UK, but then good country/ bluegrass rarely gets any tv/ radio coverage here. I'm currently listening to Godspeed You Black Emperor - Allelujah Don't Bend Ascend...(not a bluegrass band though!)

Sgt.
OK i tried this before but people only used it for a day... I'm envisioning a long term thread that gets posted to daily when folks are browsing the forum and listening to tunes. The idea here is to provide suggestions for bands/albums for others to check out. You don't have to post a YT vid or anything....just the name of the artist and the album you're listening to if you want. YT vids are just a plus to make it easy for everyone to check out. I'm listening to: Baroness - The Blue Record http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6P9lBsib0qc CSNY doing Lone Time Gone with Tom Jones (yes, The Bull From Wales ... It's Not Unusual). That's a sight you don't see everyday! My link
