Gary Moore Tribute
With my Custom having the works done to it I thought it would be worth adding a new truss rod cover I thinking down the lines of Les Paul 1960 Custom Les Paul Tribute Custom Les Paul Gibson Custom What would you surgest? brad1
Well, since you asked, No I don't think it would be worth it. Who cares what's on the TRC? I tend to ignore them pretty much all together. Unless I need to get to the TR. But obviously it means something to you, so do it. Some people like to customize their TRC. Fringe Lunatic
I don't like tags, emblems, labels, etc., so I replaced my TRC with a plain black one. But a friend made it for free; otherwise I would've left it as is. Don't waste your money.
Supersonic
I kinda like the plain black ones too, but since your guitar is a Les Paul Custom, I would leave on the one that says......Les Paul Custom!!
Fringe Lunatic
Maybe if you replace it with one made of titanium, the neck will be less likely to snap....

dem00n
I wanted to get a gibson style one for my MM...say dem00n.
vomer
Yes, I would if there is something you fancy having on it. If (WHEN) I get my Sheraton finished I thought about swapping out the TRC with the epsilon on it for one that says 'custom' in the vertical text and typeface of the ones which say 'gibson'. Just a little personal touch to finish it off.

brianh
I'm making a replacement one out of some spare ebony for my ZBD. It should look better than that big old "E".
wardog
solid, i say go for it. I have modded a few guitars and the one i am most proud of and my most favorite guitar in my collection is my epi special with p90 sc (antique white). I love this guitar period and after making it more personal with modds to suit my taste i had a custom trc made with wardog on it. It looks awesome. need to take new family pics of my stuff though. bigneil
how about one with soldsnake on it?
Gary Moore Tribute
how about one with soldsnake on it? Edmittedly SolidSnake1MGS / SS1MGS is a handle I've been using for the last 10 years! but I was more of an MGS fan back then, I kept using the handle tho because of its layout it was never registered anywhere I used it. But with the Guitar Truss Rod I don't really fancy putting my name one it yet (Gotta get really cocky before that happens) May end up being the Chris H Special... who knows
RSDx
Maybe if you replace it with one made of titanium, the neck will be less likely to snap.... Hmmmm, dunno ... ti is kind of flexible (makes for nice smooth riding bicycle frames)..... perhaps cast iron would be better/stronger/stiffer.... but then again, that extra weight might induce neck dive...heh ..... maybe go for unobtanium? Whitmore Willy
Been having a good look round and the only one that caught my eye was this: Worth it? Correct me if I'm wrong. Your Custom (according to your signature pic) is an Epi. What are you going to screw the bottom screw into? Am I missing something? Willy

Willy The guy who makes these does Epi & Gib versions, but he won't have a epi version of this one until after the next batch, so I have to wait 2-3 weeks until its ready Their is alot of interest in this cover from what the seller said.
