Beware of Ziplock Bags

A few days ago, a ziplock freezer bag full of potpourri was laying on our kitchen table. When it was picked up, the label stuck to the table. It would not wash off with anything.I took a plastic scraper to try to remove it and the finish was scraped off the table!. We're going to have to have the table refinished. Do not let freezer bags with labels come into contact with anything with a finish. Imagine this happening to your guitar.

It must have gotten wet. If you ever heat up something like hot dog buns or the like and then set them on the counter, the bag will condensate and will end up leaving the logo and such on the counter.

Grawbad speaks the truth, we had a grocery store plastic bag that was wet rest against the paint on one of our cabinets and the logo is still there two years later. Fortunetly, we're only renting :P

But did it form a gooey sticky mess that took off the finish?
