jedward
Em7 from photographic evidence, Donovan's j45 had a white ceramic saddle. So unless the saddle on mine has been replaced....

Sure thing - we had the theme up some threads ago and I just wondered with tongue in cheek. Donovans also got chrome tuners after he removed the guard. Gilliangirl
Twenty-four parallellograms! I'm a parallelogram kinda gal Any difference in sound between the '53 J-185 and the 2009 J-185?

jedward
Twenty-four parallellograms! I'm a parallelogram kinda gal Any difference in sound between the '53 J-185 and the 2009 J-185? They do sound different. The '53 sounds "throatier." Is that a word? Drier, too. They share a similar top end sheen, but the mids are different. The '53 j185 sounds closer to the '09 j185 than to its chronological neighbor the '46 sj.
