larryp58
You'll be fine. As long as the saddle stays put. Most saddles from the factory are snug and won't fall out. Assuming you've changed strings on a guitar before, you'll not have the need to remove the saddle.
levidale
so i guess its ok to take all the strings off and the pickup wont fall out? what happen if it does? this my first guitar with a under saddle pick up. thanks
Acousticologist
Gibson makes sure they're pretty snug. shouldnt fall out. if it does, just make sure it all in the bridge slot and put the saddle on top... might have to hold the saddle still while you wind the first string... if all else fails ship it to me and buy a new one..
