We sure do, , , and looking back on the earlier pages of this Board, a lot of G-wisdom has been passed on. Some rather serious contributions by owf f.x.

I was in Florida two weeks ago, but now I'm back to taking footsteps in the frozen north. B)

Kahune.....footsteps in sand, footsteps in snow...are all destined to dissappear......lol....however I would RATHER be in the warm of florida than the frozen north.......

You're welcome, Anne. That's the Nilsson/Fred Neil connection covered. Wonder if any Big Bill Broonzy fans will also get nostalgia?

I recently got his "Sings Folk Songs" album and can't stop listening to it!

Reminds me of Bob Dylan's Worried Blues too - although "weather" is changed to "climate".

Every footprint speaks out a story

Some they are scattered

some gathered in lines

It's a mix between laughter and reasons to worry

Incredible madness impossible signs. . .

could you maybe elaborate?

Music is like footsteps in the sand.....once we sing a song, it disappears into the universal ether. There for a moment, then lost forever in time. Same with footsteps in the sand. Tides and waves remove any traces of footsteps. Likewise, all the musicians who proceeded us....like the old Delta blues masters.....are like footsteps in the sand. Where they stepped, we followed, now to make our own footsteps!!
