tweed2 Posted March 9, 2011 Share Posted March 9, 2011 Last August, I bought a 2001 Casino. Since none of my amps or guitars stay stock for long, I upgraded the PUs and electronics, then went blonde. I liked it becuase it wasn't like all of the others, you know, different. But about a month ago (seven month itch?), I started to pine for something a little sexier. So, black PU covers, knobs, pickguard, even the tailpice got some color. Changed the magnets out to AlNico 3 and AlNico 2. Hard to believe that they're all the same guitar. tweed2 Posted March 11, 2011 Author Share Posted March 11, 2011 Thanks. Vintage Vibe PUs, neck 5% underwound and AlNico 2 magnets, and bridge 5% overwound with AlNico 5 magnets.
