So now you've modded it to your liking, how about a head-to-head review versus that tasty Gibby LP Standard in your Signature pic? Gary Moore Tribute Posted March 17, 2011 Author Posted March 17, 2011 UPDATE Well apart from the Truss Cover (Still waiting on that...) Heres the finished artical Since The first post I've finished it off with ALL new 24ct Gold Screws throughout (Backplates, jack & pickup covers etc) Gibson 24ct Gold "Nashville" Bridge tune o matic Gibson 24ct Gold Tailpiece Gibson 24ct Gold Knob pointers Dunlop Strap lock Gold strap joints (The Gibson standard) & finally string it with my recently purchased "D'addario XL110's" One thing that surprised me tho was how easy it was to set the intonation took a mere 2 attempts!
animalfarm Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Very NICE! I have GOLD hardware on my RAVEN WEST LP, so I definitely appreciate the "Goin' for the GOLD'! You have raised your LP to a NEW level - "Too Pretty To Play", also known as "Tee-Pee Tee-Pee" (T.P.T.P.) You are now allowed to say you have a... Tee-Pee Tee-Pee El-Pee!!! Good Job.
