jwalin Posted March 13, 2011 Share Posted March 13, 2011 I've got an opportunity to buy one of these, and the Guitar Dater Project says it is a 2001 made at the Unsung plant. It is red metal flake, has mini humbuckers, the tuners have been replaced, and there are a few blemishes in the finish. It does not have the original pickguard, but does include a case. The asking price is $350. I played it and was satisfied with the quality, I just wanted to get the opinions of the people here before I pull the trigger. What do you think? bigneil Posted March 15, 2011 Share Posted March 15, 2011 One thing to consider is that the mini humbuckers sound quite different from standard size humbuckers. there are some head to head sound comparisons on youtube. as for the price, I can only whist fully say that a guitar is only worth what a person is willing to pay for it. have you played it? do you want it? then haggle!
