Sadly I haven't had a chance to plug it into the amp and give it a good test but what I have heard at quiet levels is very promising. Another thing I have noticed when comparing the two bird's is the feeling that the Silver one appears to have a lighter body then it's "Gothic" partner. It maybe the strap I'm using that gives the lighter body feel, in the specs apparently both basses are meant to be made from Mahogany which is why the weight difference came to mind. Rob R Posted March 28, 2011 Share Posted March 28, 2011 Good to know, I didn't even compare the weight, I just know the sound had a lot more clarity than my other T-Bird. I also think it look alot better with the chrome hardware. I do like black on most guitars, but it was nice to something different than all the other T-Birds. I still get tempted when looking at others but I feel with the guitars I have there isn't a rush for another. The only problem I have is which one to play, they all give me the urge to play!
