But then, Beale Street wasn't there yet as you'll see it now, either - and not one of my black friends cared at all for blues in those years. I always thought that was kind interesting until I got to thinking about how many of my white friends, even "country" listeners, were into old time stuff that would have been on the radio in the '30s through the 50s or so. <grin> m Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
