I think they will find Noa's Ark sooner than I will find an Epi Excellente or a reissue but who knows-

one or the other Epi may turn up yet so that's why I keep the word out there. Still looking and ready

to buy.

I feel certain Noah's Ark has been found. It just so durned hard to get to... that and the locals don't want it to be found.

Not to offend your sensibilities, but if you think Noa's Arc has really been found, you certainly are able locate me a 64 Excellente.

There have been multiple sightings, of a ship, a large ship hung up in a glacial valley in the mountains near Ararat. Back during the time of Napoleon Bonaparte's reign, a French military expedition climbed up to it and were in and upon it. The prow of a wooden ship was hanging out of the end of the glacier, hanging over the valley below. The ship roughly fits the description recorded in a document, commonly known as the Book of Genesis. In more recent times, the ship has been seen to have fallen, in part or as a whole into the valley below and is understandably broken up. Also, an anomalous structure has been documented with satellite photography in the hanging valley described by the Napoleonic explorers.

The ship, whatever it is, is rests on the border between Turkey and Iran. The area, for now, is quite inhospitable for even the most experienced climbers. One must also get a permit to do any searching, exploring, or excavating, in the area. The locals know that this may be Noah's ark, but the locals' version of which peak is Ararat is doesn't quite jibe with the mountain peak which people of other traditions believe to be Mt. Ararat. If this is in fact Noah's Ark, it would tend to prove other people's traditional view of what/where Mt. Ararat is. As such, the locals are not motivated to allow any archeological expeditions in the area which may prove them wrong.

We may, however, see some movement on exploration in this area. Back in Napoleon's time the earth was in a period of global temperature maximum, which made the earlier expedition possible, due to the decreased severity of the mountain's weather. Our current experience with global temperature spike, may make archaeological recovery possible again for a time... if the locals will allow it.

If so, one might prove that the ship is Noah's Ark, or not. If not, how did a ship get that high into the mountains? More importantly, why? and equally importantly, who?

Sorry, though, I can't help on the '64 Excellente. If I find one, I'm keeping it.
