BigKahune
. Yaff is on the money. To your question - Electronics - the capacitors, the potentiometers (volume and tone controls), the switches, the wiring, sometimes even the jack. Wood quality - There are different levels of quality/grades of wood dependent on - vibration transmission, weight, amount of graining, consistency of the graining, and, if figured, the amount of figuring, and the consistency of the figuring. There are also different sources for the wood in terms of where (country) the wood was grown, and some source are more desirable than others.
