I had a beer with Richard Moll, he walked into one of our local watering holes and butted right into our conversation (we were joking about a guy that just got escorted out for unruliness, the joke being that he was apparently drinking Iced Tea and couldn't hold it). Very down to Earth guy, and as funny in person as he is on TV. If you ever have a chance to Beer with him, do it.

I'd really like to have a Beer with Nathan east or Phil Palmer or one of those insiders, so I could pick their brains for insider tips. Or I'd like to have a Beer with Pino Paladino and Chris Layton, maybe talk them into a Jam Session [thumbup]

Farns... Sorry... I would have agreed except yours came up while had my own response "box" up and was running elsewhere. But... Huxley wasn't my thing, I fear.

Actually one of my most interesting interviews - no beer, darn it - was with Wernher von Braun. We had some common acquaintances which helped.

A well known author who was going to college about the time I was, except a few miles away, and who is a fantastic classical scholar as well as super author is David Drake. I envy both his far greater facility with Latin and his far superior knowledge of classical era history than my own - not to mention that he's unquestionably a far superior writer.

It's been nearly 50 years since I've seen Peter Coyote in person - we were at the same college - but it'd be super to actually talk with him over a beer. His life and politics went one way, mine went an entirely different way; both of us were rather rebellious each in our own very separate modes and yet managed not to end up dead as a result of it. I still remember him with his D28.

Actually some musicians ain't exactly fun to sit and talk to; others can be. Frankly some of the more interesting I've met have been folks whose styles were far from my own.

lol My father had a few drinks with David Grohl in KC at his AFLAC convention...David was at the hotel for some reason, and him and my dad sat down and had a few...

I too had a beer with DG at their concert in Hyde Park a couple of years ago! Good chap he is too.

He is a recovering alcoholic, so out of respect I would also have orange juice, but for me Anthony Hopkins!

He is possibly my all time favourite actor and I love the man off screen too! Also he plays piano and writes music so there would be plenty to talk about!

I would take him to my favourite pizza restaurant and say "come on, do the trick! you know? where you can produce loads of bread from one...pizza is bread!"
