I've wanted to get a '57 gold top for years, and obviously i'll probably never get an original '57, but I want to get as close as i can get for the money. Anyone ever played either or both of these? What can you tell me? I dont have a gibson dealer anywhere around me, so i'm going to have to order it and rely on the return policy, so i'd obviously rather just make the right choice out of the gate...
