Andre S
I was test fitting a Lace Sensor gold into a pickguard, and I tugged a little too hard on the wire causing the green wire to break from the point that it was soldered. It is soldered on to the base of the pickup, I can see where the solder blob is and the green wire connected. Can I just resolder the wire to this point or do I need to do a more invasive repair or a new pickup?
strat-o-steve
You can easily re-solder it. Just use a low wattage iron and do not get it too hot and cook the pickup :)

Since it already has solder it should heat up even faster.
TommyK
Great. I'm using a 15W iron. Since it already has solder it should heat up even faster. That's usually the best tack. If you have to strip the wire, revealing new, un-oxidized wire, I'd put a bit of flux in the wire end and tin the newly stripped wire first. I felt the wire tugging, but I nearly had the pickup height adjustment screw into the pickup base, and I ignored it. By the time I had fitted the pickup into the template pickguard, the green wire loosened. I sincerely hope that the other two wires are secure.
