7 string flying V?

Hmm, I can barely manage 6 strings, but it sure looks great!

I'm glad they gave it the smaller pickguard and the nice '58 V tailpiece. Classes it up a lot!

Now they just need one in Natural, with the same hardware and plastics....

Its great that they didn't have to modify the guitar a lot. Still kind good. but I probably won't get one seeing as I can barely afford a capo

i don't use a capo but sometimes get them free with a guitar magazine [biggrin]

That's way too metal for me but it looks sweet.

I'm down for some 7 string action, just not with pointy guitars with EMGs.

7 strings is quite fun, but I turned my Strat into a 6 string version of a 7 string, took of the high e

Sound badass, and not metal [thumbup]

That's awesome! I've been looking at seven-stringers with actives, and this one is, frankly, beautiful.

However, looking at the price, I can't help but feel that I could get a different seven for less money and probably be just as happy with it...

Ibanez makes some good ones. I don't think they do 7-string V's, though.

I've played a few, and liked those the best

Yeah, but I would probably spend less still on a second-hand Ibanez or Schecter.

At the same time, I suppose this model is relatively affordable for Gibson. I don't know--whether it's this one or another model, I'm not quite ready to drop money on another guitar right now, so I have plenty of time to wait for used ones to start showing up.

That's pretty cool I like the headstock and the way they added the sixth tuner in the tip really makes you take a second look.

I agree that was the first thing I looked at and I dig the way they put it in the middle.
